What are the Pier and Seawall Requirements?

The Fox Waterway Agency does not regulate piers or seawalls. The Army Corps of Engineers and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources Bartlett Office at 847-608-3100 are the two agencies who issue permits. Please contact one of these agencies for questions regarding your pier or seawall.
