This presentation explains how green infrastructure can help manage stormwater runoff and improve water quality in the Fox River and Chain O’Lakes watershed. It gives various examples of green infrastructures and how by slowing and filtering runoff, they reduce flooding, prevent erosion, and help remove pollutants such as nutrients, sediment, and chemicals before the water reaches lakes and rivers.
