New for 2026 – Online Watercraft and Sticker Management System

We’re excited to introduce our new online customer system, designed to make managing your watercraft registration faster, easier, and more convenient than ever.

With this new system, you can securely manage your information online—no phone calls or paperwork required.

What You Can Do in the New System

Once logged in, you can:

  • Add and manage your watercraft information
  • Purchase and renew your watercraft stickers online
  • View your registration status
  • Access your order history and receipts
  • Update your contact information anytime

How to Get Started

  1. Log in using the email address or phone number associated with your account
  2. From your dashboard, add or review your address, email address, phone number and watercraft details. NOTE: Your information has been imported! Please take a moment to review it and confirm that your address, email address and phone number are correct. This ensures you’ll receive your sticker(s), your sticker purchase receipts and be able to log in using your phone number.
  3. Complete any missing information (if prompted)
  4. Choose ‘Standard USPS’ for mail delivery or ‘Local Pickup’ for pickup at FWA office (Mail orders can take up to 21 days for delivery via USPS)
  5. Purchase your sticker directly from your dashboard

If this is your first time logging in, simply follow the prompts to get registered.  It only takes a few minutes.

Purchasing Stickers In Person

You may still purchase your watercraft stickers in person at our offices if you prefer.

Fox Waterway Agency (FWA) Office

  • Payment options: Cash, check, or credit card
  • Same-day assistance during regular office hours of  9am – 4pm Monday – Friday
  • $10 convenience fee is added to each order ($2 fee for temporary stickers)

Satellite Offices

  • Payment option: Credit card only
  • Cash and checks are no longer accepted at Satellite Locations
  • $10 convenience fee is added to each order ($2 fee for temporary stickers)

Want Your Sticker Today?

Order online and pickup at FWA Office

  • Place your order online and choose Local Pickup for your shipping option
  • Upon receipt of the email confirmation that your sticker is ready for pickup, head over the the FWA office at 45 S Pistakee Lake Rd, Fox Lake, IL
  • Save the $10 convenience fee by placing your order online
  • Order must be placed by 3pm for same-day pickup.  If the order is placed after 3pm, it will be ready for pickup on the next business day.  If you need same-day pickup after 3pm, please visit one of our Satellite Locations.

How to Login to Your Account

You can log in using either your phone number or your email address. Both options work the same way.

Step 1: Go to the Login Page

Visit the website and click My Account.


Step 2: Enter Your Phone Number or Email Address

  • Select the correct tab on the login screen for how you would like to login, either your phone number or your email address. Enter the phone number or email address you used when you made your purchase or registered

  • You only need one — phone or email

If one doesn’t work, try the other.


Step 3: Get Your One-Time Passcode (OTP)

After you enter your phone number or email, you’ll receive a One-Time Passcode (OTP).

  • If you use a phone number: the code is sent by text message

  • If you use an email address: the code is sent by email

The message usually arrives within a few seconds.


Step 4: Enter the OTP Code

  • Enter the 6-digit code exactly as it appears

  • The code is temporary and expires after a short time

  • Once used, it cannot be reused

This replaces a traditional password — you do not need to remember a password.


Step 5: You’re Logged In

Once the code is accepted, you’ll be logged into your account and can:

  • View your orders

  • Update your information

  • Complete or review your watercraft details


What Is an OTP?

An OTP (One-Time Passcode) is a short, temporary code sent to you to securely confirm your identity.

  • It works like a digital key

  • It’s safer than a password

  • Each code can only be used once


Helpful Tips

  • Make sure your phone number and email address are correct

  • Check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see the email

  • If the code expires, simply request a new one


Having Trouble Logging In?

  • Try using your email instead of your phone number (or vice versa)

  • Make sure there are no extra spaces when entering your phone number or email

  • If you still can’t log in, contact support for help
