Based on the NWS forecast, inflows are forecasted to peak at just under 2800 cfs (two times what would be considered normal); this includes today’s rain. Stratton Dam has been opened to the maximum permissible per the Operations Manual. Currently outflow is limited to 1800 cfs to prevent damages along the Lower River. Fox Lake is forecasted to peak on Friday near 4.9’ and the Lower River is still forecasted to remain below 3.0’. Flows and water levels are anticipated to be higher than normal for the foreseeable future. All effort will be made to return to normal summer pool in as timely manner as possible, while attempting to minimize the impacts to all areas of the system.
