Summary

There is currently between 1.25” – 2.0” of precipitation forecasted for the next 7 Days (Figure 4). The current Drought Map (Figure 5) shows Abnormally Dry conditions creeping in from the Southwest.  Based on the current forecast, inflows will continue to slowly drop over the next week (Figure 1) despite the forecasted rainfall. Fox Lake is forecasted to remain between 4.0’ to 4.2’ and the Lower River is predicted to remain above 1.5’ on the McHenry Tailwater gage, (Figure 2) and (Figure 3).
