Summary
Based on the current forecast, inflows are continuing to drop (Figure 1). The lakes are predicted to crest at approximately 5.84’ (Figure 2) on Monday; the Lower River is still forecasted to peak at approximately 5.4’ for the McHenry Tailwater gage, later in the day tomorrow. Water levels are expected to remain higher than normal for at least the next two week depending on future precipitation.
