Summary:
Based on the current forecast, inflows are at the peak (Figure 1). The lakes are predicted to crest at
approximately 5.78’ (Figure 2); the Lower River is still forecasted to peak at approximately 5.15’ for the
McHenry Tailwater gage (Figure 3), later in the day on Monday, April 8th. Water levels are expected to
remain higher than normal for at least the next two week depending on future precipitation.
